The auto giant from Munich, Bayerische Motorenwerke turns 100 today and its rival from Stuttgart, the Mercedes-benz congratulates in a classiest way possible. First it says “Thank you for 100 years of competition” and then this – “The previous 30 years were bit boring”. Referring to 1896, the year Mercedes-Benz came into existance. 30 years before BMW! 😀 Anyways, HBD #BMW!
The Mercedes-Benz Museum is inviting the employees of BMW from 8 to 13 March 2016, free admission to the museum in Stuttgart. Those arriving in a BMW will be allowed to park free of charging in a prominent position directly outside the entrance on the hill. The restaurant will additionally serve up a special Swabian speciality for the first 50 BMW employees at the end of their tour of 130 years of automotive history. Following their tour of the exhibition, they are cordially invited to partake of a Swabian speciality citing the double kidney shape of the signature BMW radiator grille.
