Video: Mercedes-Benz GLC Off-Road

We had a chance to drive Mercedes-Benz GLC off-road. Watch the video as the 4Matic SUV tackle some harsh terrain with the help of its various off-road driving modes like “off-road”, “slippery”, and features like DSR, Hill Hold and Hill Start Assist and so on.

About the GLC – The GLC is a facelift version of the earlier GLK, which was not on sale in India. The GLC adopts Mercedes’ new nomenclature for SUVs, which are now in-line with its sedan lineup. The GLC on sale in India are GLC 300 4Matic and GLC 220 d 4Matic. The 300 4Matic has a 1991 CC 4 Cyl turbocharged petrol engine producing 245 hp @ 5500 rpm and 370 Nm of torque @ 1300 – 4000 rpm. The GLC 220 d 4Matic on the other hand sports a familiar 2143 CC 4 Cyl turbocharged diesel engine producing 170 hp @ 3000-4200 rpm and 400 Nm of torque @ 1400-2800 rpm. Both engines are mated to 9G-Tronic automatic transmission, and the car features some clever off-road engineering, which can help you do some serious off-road adventures.
