Hyundai Eon 7,657 units recalled

Hyundai Motor India Ltd, the Indian subsidiary of South Korean Conglomerate has recalled 7,657 units of Eon cars, manufactured between 1st January 2015 – 31st January 2015. The company has initiated this recall to inspect the “Clutch Cable Fouling with Battery Cable” at no cost to customer.

Eon customers of respective period will be notified in a phased manner for inspection of the clutch cable fouling with Battery Cable and replace the Battery Cable if found damaged, said the company in an official release.

The company further added that it continues to ensure the quality of products offering to its customers and encourage owners of all affected Eon cars to take them to authorized Hyundai Dealers.
