Amidst dropped footfalls at showrooms and drop in sales (not just Suzuki) due to the cash crunch prevailing in the country, Suzuki Motorcycle has partnered with Paytm – an e-commerce and a payment gateway from NCR, and HDFC bank.

Prospective customers can book a Suzuki two wheeler by paying an amount of Rs 20,000 through Paytm and finance the remaining amount with HDFC, eliminating the need for any cash transaction. They would also get a Rs 3000 cashback from Paytm upon vehicle delivery. In addition, any Government employee or HDFC bank account holder can avail 100% finance for a Suzuki two wheeler from HDFC Bank.

Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, SMIPL, said “We aim to limit the impact of currency ban by providing our customers a convenient purchase alternative that is not dependent on availability of cash in hand. We will continue to stand with our patrons and ensure a delightful customer experience every time they visit our outlets.”

There’s also a limited period Low Down Payment Scheme with 90% finance for those who have income proof, but do not have an account with HDFC.
