Bentley today unveiled its fastest and most powerful production model to date – the Continental GT Supersports, and its soft-top convertible sibling – the Continental Supersports Convertible. Bentley claims the duo to be the world’s fastest four seat car and world’s fastest four seat convertible, with 0-100 km/h dispatched in 3.5 seconds for the coupe and 3.9 secs for the convertible. While the coupe maxes out at 336 km/h, the convertible will do 330 km/h.

The massive W12 engine has been fiddled, and new high-performance turbos have been added to achieve those performance figures. The 6.0 litre twin turbo W12 now makes 700 bhp @ 6,000 rpm, and a whopping 1,017 Nm of torque @ 2,050 – 4,500 rpm. The engine is mated to ZF 8 Speed automatic with paddle shifters, and the power is sent to all four wheels. Its a continuous all-wheel drive system with rear bias 40:60 distribution.

The Continental GT Supersports rides on 21 inch forged alloy wheels wearing 275/35 tyres, and the stopping power comes from 420 mm carbon discs at front and 356 mm discs at rear. A titanium exhaust is available as an option.
