Yamaha has unveiled the refreshed R15 V3.0 at Sentul International Circuit in Indonesia. The R15 V3.0 borrows styling cues from its bigger siblings, the R6 and R1, to make it look more aggressive and track-oriented.

Reports suggest that the V3.0 will get a new 155.5 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected VVA engine, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 19 hp at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm, making it the most powerful bike in the segment. The bike gets slipper & assist clutch as well.

The new bike weighs less, with kerb weight standing at 137 kg. New features include LED headlamps, new digital instrumentation where you can also add your name, and hazard lamp. The chassis continues to be a Delta Box frame type, and now there are upside-down forks at the front. Fuel tank capacity has been reduced by 1 litre, and now measures 11 litres. Tyres measure 100/80 at front and 140/70 at the rear. There are three colors to choose from – Racing Blue, Matte Black and Matte Red.
