2017 Audi A3 launched at Rs 30.50 lakh

2016 Audi A3 Sedan

Audi India has launched the updated A3 sedan at Rs 30.50 lakh for the 35 TFSI (petrol), and Rs 32.30 lakh for the 35 TDI (diesel), ex-showroom, Delhi. The year 2017 marks 10 years of presence for Audi India, and the A3 facelift is the 5th out of 10 planned launches for the year.

Following the design language of the latest Audi models, the A3’s sharp exterior design gets LED headlamps (optional) and tail lamps with dynamic turn signals. Bi-Xenon units are standard. Interiors are more or less the same as the outgoing model. Features on offer include a 7-inch retractable MMI infotainment system with navigation, dual zone climate control, electric front seats, sunroof, park assist with reversing camera, seven airbags, ABS + EBD, leather upholstery, and an optional Bang & Olufsen surround sound system. The new A3 for India misses out the popular Virtual Cockpit.

The new A3 sedan will share the petrol engine from its Cabriolet sibling, the 1.4 litre 4-cylinder TFSI unit with Cylinder on Demand (COD) technology, producing 150 hp @ 5000 – 6000 rpm and 250 Nm of torque @ 1500 – 3500 rpm, paired to a 7-Speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission. The diesel continues to be a 2.0 4-cylinder TDI, producing 143 hp and 320 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-Speed S tronic.
