Touchscreen infotainment systems are a rage now, whether its a big car or a entry-level hatch, it has be in the features list, at least as an option. Now, Hyundai has added a touchscreen AVN to its entry-level hatchback Eon, available as a ‘Sports Edition’ under Era+ and Magna+ trims with 0.8 litre engine.
The 6.2-inch touchscreen AVN comes with Phone Link, USB and AUX. The Sports Edition also gets side molding graphics and roof rails. Both variants come with AC, electric power steering, two front speakers and front power windows.
No mechanical changes under the hood, as mentioned earlier, the Sports Edition is available with 0.8 litre iRDE engine, producing 56 PS (55 hp) of power @ 5500 rpm and 74.5 Nm of torque @ 4000 rpm, paired to a 5-Speed manual transmission.
