After 12 weeks of refurbishment, Mercedes-AMG showroom in Affalterbach opens with racetrack-themed design focusing on the 50-year old brand’s roots in motorsports.

The showroom gets a special mastic asphalt floor covering inside and outside with classic pit lane markings, tyre marks and a start/finish line. Inside, the design also features an eye-catching tunnel graphic that has the effect of lengthening the room. A separate area has been created near the entrance specially for the GT family of sports cars, with members of the family being showcased in rotation for customers and potential buyers.

The Affalterbach showroom is an entry point to the guests who want to take a tour of the plant. Daimler has over 400 AMG Performance Centres incorporated within the Mercedes-Benz dealerships in 40 different countries. The first dedicated Mercedes-AMG showroom was opened in Tokyo in January.
