The Fairlady has got some minor updates for the 2018 model year and is now on sale across Europe.

Upgrades on the exterior include black door handles and a black rear bumper applique. Smoked headlamps and rear combination lights – previously available only on the Nismo model are now standard. There are new 19-inch alloy wheels and a new Red Metallic exterior body colour.

The 7-inch NissanConnect touchscreen infotainment system, sat-nav, DVD player and rear-view camera, is available as an optional extra.

As for the mechanicals, Nissan has partnered with the performance brand EXEDY to integrate a new high-performance clutch into manual versions of the 370Z, which is claimed to perfect the downshifts, reduce driver pedal effort and deliver greater levels of gear change precision and comfort.

No change in the powertrain department, the engine continues to be 3.7-litre 328 PS V6, driving the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed automatic transmission.

Nissan said that the 370Z remains the only car in the segment to offer Syncro Rev Control (rev matching), which is claimed to be the world’s first fully synchronized down/up shift rev control system on a manual transmission.

The 370Z roadster and 370Z Nismo remain on sale without any upgrades.
