Skoda’s Yeti replacement Karoq, which was globally unveiled in Stockholm in May this year, has landed in India probably for testing. As per the media reports, Skoda plans to introduce the compact SUV in India early next year.
Internationally, there are five turbocharged engines on offer. Two petrol and three diesel engines with displacements ranging from 1.0, 1.5, 1.6 and 2.0 litre. For the Indian market, Skoda might offer a 2.0 TDI that is also shared with the bigger brother Kodiaq, and one of the petrol engines from its India line-up.
