Another new Bengaluru-based electric startup Emflux Motors will be unveiling their Model 01 electric bike at the 2018 Auto Expo near Delhi.
Founded in 2016 by folks who held Management roles in IT industry, the Emflux team now has around 25 people. The startup has 6 investors too.
Back to the bike, it appears to be built around a tubular chassis. Features include a single sided swingarm, Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes, Continental dual channel ABS, and 7-inch touchscreen with GPS navigation and real time vehicle diagnostics. There’ll also be a mobile app to stay connected.
The electric motor produces 50 kW (67 hp) of power and 87 Nm of torque @ 8400 rpm. The Lithium-ion battery pack has Samsung’s cells and is claimed to deliver 200 km of range. There’ll be regenerative braking as well.
0-100 km/h acceleration is claimed at 3.0 seconds and a top speed of 200 km/h.
Emflux also sells components for electric vehicles such as Battery Management System chip, motors, motor controller, battery packs and so on.
