Ducati launches Panigale V4 and V4 S in India

Ducati has launched the Panigale V4 and V4 S in India, priced at Rs 20,53,000 and Rs 25,29,000, ex-showroom, respectively.

The Panigale V4 will be limited to 20 units in India and each reservation made before 31st May will include an exclusive numbered memorabilia on delivery. On top of that, the first two customers to buy the Panigale V4 will win a sponsored Ducati Riding Experience racetrack course that will be held in June 2018 in Malaysia at the Sepang MotoGP circuit.

Both motorcycles are powered by a new 1,103 cc V4 90° engine derived from MotoGP Desmosedici, producing 214 hp at 13,000 rpm and 124.0 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. The gearbox is a 6-speed with Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) up/down EVO.

As for the suspension, the V4 gets Showa fully adjustable fork at the front and an adjustable Sachs unit at the rear. The V4 S on the other side gets a fully adjustable Ohlins unit with Smart EC 2.0 both front and rear.

The dry weight of V4 and V4 S is 175 kg and 174 kg, respectively.

Standard equipment includes Ducati Power Launch (DPL), full-LED headlight with Daytime Running Light (DRL), Sachs steering damper, quick control selection, automatic switch-off of turn signals.

Other equipments and safety kit include Riding Modes (Race, Sport and Street), Power Modes, Bosch cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, Ducati Slide Control, Engine Brake Control, and Auto Tyre Calibration.

The V4 S gets aluminium forged rims and a lithium-ion battery.
