Royal Enfield has launched the Thunderbird 500X and Thunderbird 350X in India, priced at Rs 198,878 and Rs 156,849, ex-showroom Delhi, respectively.

The Thunderbird X is a blend of classic design and youthful character. Its is offered with four new colours – Getaway Orange and Drifter Blue for the 500X, and Whimsical White and Roving Red for the 350X.

The bikes feature newly positioned handlebars, and is the first Royal Enfield to be equipped with tubeless tires and sturdy alloys.

The 500X is powered by a 499 cc Single Cylinder 4-Stroke, Twinspark, Air cooled engine, producing 27.2 bhp @ 5,250 rpm and 41.3 Nm of torque @ 4,000 rpm, paired to a 5-Speed gearbox.

The 350X on the other side is powered by a 346 cc Single Cylinder 4-Stroke, Twinspark, Air cooled engine, producing 19.8 bhp @ 5,250 rpm and 28 Nm of torque @ 4,000 rpm, paired to a 5-Speed gearbox.

While the 500X gets Electronic Fuel Injection, the 350X has a Constant Vacuum Carburetor.
