The India division of Mitsubishi has launched the 2018 Outlander with prices starting at Rs 31.95 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai. The Outlander is imported to India as a CBU, and is available only with a petrol engine.
Speaking of which, the 2.4-litre (2360 cc) 4-cylinder engine develops 167 hp @ 6000 rpm and 222 Nm of torque @ 4100 rpm, paired to a CVT with paddle shifters.
The SUV features on-demand 4WD system with 4WD Auto, 4WD Eco and 4WD Lock modes.
Exterior features include full LED automatic headlamps with DRLs, LED fog lamps, LED rear combination lamps and power sliding sunroof with anti-trap functionality. The SUV rides on 16-inch alloy wheels shod with 215/70 tyres.
Interiors get genuine leather upholstery, Rockford Fosgate 6.1-inch two DIN audio system, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, electric parking brake with auto hold, rain sensing wipers and more.
Safety equipment includes 7 airbags, ABS + EBD, Active Stability Control, Hill Start Assist and Brake Assist System.
The SUV measures 4695 mm in length, 1810 mm in width and 1710 mm in height. Wheelbase measures 2670 mm and the ground clearance is at 190 mm (unladen).
The Outlander is available in 7 colors – Black Pearl, Cosmic Blue, Orient Red, Titanium Gray, White Solid, White Pearl and Cool Silver.
