Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL) has commenced bookings for the new Ciaz at its NEXA showrooms across India, ahead of its expected launch on August 20. Interested customers can book the car with a deposit of Rs 11,000 at their nearest NEXA outlet, or can be booked online.
The new Ciaz comes with sharper looks, LED Projector headlamps with DRLs, new LED rear combination lamps and new machined alloy wheels. Besides a new dashboard, the refreshed interiors are expected to feature a new infotainment system as well. More on that here.
“The new ciaz will further strengthen Maruti Suzuki’s position in the A3 premium sedan segment,” the company said.
As for the powertrains, the Fiat-sourced 1.3 DDiS will most likely continue to be offered as a mild-hybrid while a new petrol engine is expected for the new Ciaz.
