Rolls-Royce remembers Silver Ghost with limited edition Ghosts

Rolls-Royce has created a limited collection of just 35 bespoke Ghosts, named the ‘Silver Ghost Collection’, paying homage to the original Silver Ghost of 1907. Apparently, this is the contemporary iteration of the original car.

A specially created Hallmark of AX201 – the registration plate of the original Silver Ghost – is marked on the base of the Spirit of Ecstasy. The insert is crafted from hammered copper, a tribute to the copper extensively used in the engine bay of the original car.

The Spirit of Ecstasy itself is made from Silver. The wheels get an engraved chrome surround. Also, the coachline has pure silver particles in it.

The visual cues continue through to the interiors. The cars get open pore Tudor Oak trim with silver onlays, or as always, anything bespoke including an accoutrements area. Watch the video below –
