Locally produced Jaguar F-Pace launched in India at Rs 63.17 lakh

More than two years after its introduction in India, Jaguar has commenced local assembly of F-Pace SUV at the company’s facility in Pune. Unlike before, the F-Pace is available only in ‘Prestige’ trim, priced at Rs 63.17 lakh for the petrol and Rs 63.57 lakh for the diesel. Both prices are ex-showroom, Pan India.

Key features of the 2019 model year F-Pace Prestige trim includes Adaptive LED headlights, 19-inch 5 spoke alloy wheels, 10-way electric front seats with driver memory, 10-inch Touch Pro system, Wi-Fi Hotspot, four-zone climate control, Cabin Air Ionisation, sliding panoramic glass roof, Meridian sound system, Lane Keep Assist, Driver Condition Monitor, Park Assist and 360° Parking Aid.

Powering the F-Pace Prestige are 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol and diesel engines. The petrol has 247 bhp (184 kW) and 365 Nm on offer, while the diesel packs 177 bhp (132 kW) and 430 Nm of torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission sends power to the all four wheels.

The petrol F-Pace can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 7.0 seconds and onto a top speed of 217 km/h, while the diesel’s numbers are 9.0 seconds and 208 km/h.

JaguarDrive Control (with Eco, Dynamic, Normal, Rain, Ice and Snow modes), Torque Vectoring by Braking (TVBB), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and Electronic Traction Control (ETC) are present too.

As for the suspension, the F-Pace features integral-link at the rear and double wishbone at the front. Many components are forged or hollow-cast in aluminium

With the launch of the locally manufactured Ingenium petrol derivative of the F-PACE, the appeal of our first Jaguar SUV is further enhanced.”
