Tata Motors wants the success of Nexon to spread beyond the Indian market. The sub-4 metre crossover is already on sale in other markets too, including Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka.

The latest market to enter is Tanzania, where it carries an introductory price tag of TZS 45 Million (Rs 14.32 lakh) for the XMA trim. As with other markets, the Nexon is offered with 1.2L turbocharged petrol and 1.5L turbocharged diesel engines. The power outputs remain unchanged as well. Transmission is a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT.

In September, Tata Motors launched the Nexon Kraz limited edition in India, to celebrate the SUV’s first anniversary.
