The Baleno which made MSIL’s NEXA retail chain a huge success, is about to get refreshed soon. Bookings for the updated Baleno can be done with a deposit of Rs 11,000 at your nearest NEXA outlet or can also be booked online.
As we can see from the teaser image, the changes are minimal. Expect new bumpers front and rear, new grille with a thick chrome lining, and new set of alloy wheels. Apparently, the interiors too are upgraded with premium materials. Besides the standard dual airbags, ISOFIX mounts, Pretensioner & force limiter seat belts and ABS with EBD, the new Baleno will offer additional safety features like speed alert system, co-driver seat belt reminder and rear parking assist sensors, MSIL said.
With a staggering 14% growth in first nine months of 2018-19, Baleno holds the industry record of fastest 5 lakh sales milestone within a record time of 38 months. With cumulative sales of over 5.2 lakh units, Baleno holds over 26% of market share in the A2+ segment of the country’s automobile industry, the company added.
