Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd (PVPL) has recently launched the Porter 700 LCV in India at Rs 3.31 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The Porter 700 is an upgrade to the Porter 600 in terms of size and power.
The Porter 700 is powered by a 652 cc single cylinder diesel engine, producing 11 kW (14.75 hp) of power @ 3,200 rpm and 40 Nm of torque @ 1,600 – 1,800 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-Speed gearbox. Claimed fuel efficiency is 26 km/l.
The Porter 700 has a deck size of 30 sq.ft. and can carry a pay load of 700 kg. Ground clearance is at 218 mm, and gradeability is 21%. The LCV can travel at a maximum speed of 62 km/h.
There are 4 colors on offer – Bianco White, Light Blue, Western Red, and Sahara Yellow.
The Porter 700 comes with a 2 years or 75,000 km extended warranty.
The Porter 700 will rival the likes of Mahindra Jeeto and Tata Ace.
