Skoda Auto India has launched the updated Octavia Onyx, priced at Rs 19,99,599 for the petrol and Rs 21,99,599 for the diesel variant. Both prices are ex-showroom, Pan India.
As with the previous Octavia Onyx, the new one too gets distinctive all-black design elements. These include the chrome line on the bumper (which is now black), mirror caps, 16-inch Premia alloy wheels, and a spoiler at the rear. Interiors of the Onyx get premium black leather upholstery and chrome highlights.
Other features include flat-bottom multifunction steering wheel with paddle shifters, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with SmartLink, dual-zone Climatronic air conditioning system, and safety features such as AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System), airbags, ABS with EBD, MKB (Multi Collision Brake), and ASR (Anti Slip Regulation).
The Octavia Onyx can be had either with a 1.8-litre TSI petrol engine or a 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine. The former offers 180 hp and 250 Nm of torque and is paired to a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission, while the latter offers 143 hp and 320 Nm of torque and is paired to a 6-speed DSG automatic transmission.
There are 3 colors to choose from – Candy White, Race Blue, and Corrida Red.
The company is offering Skoda Shield Plus, a 6-year ownership experience that includes insurance, 24 x 7 roadside assistance, and an extended warranty.
