The 4th generation Suzuki Jimny might have been temporarily discontinued in certain parts of Europe, but the good news is that it’ll be available as a 2-seater light commercial vehicle (LCV).
The rear seats have been let go for a flat cargo space, and there’s also a safety cargo partition. The exact cargo capacity will be 863-litres — 33-litres more than the passenger version when the rear seats are folded down. The Jimny LCV will also come with safety systems including Dual Sensor Brake Support (DSBS), and eCall — an emergency messaging function in case of a collision.
Powering the Jimny LCV is the same 1.5-litre (1,462 cc) 4-cylinder K15B petrol engine that develops 102 hp (75 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 130 Nm (96 lb-ft) of torque at 4,000 rpm. Gearbox will be a 5-speed manual that drives all four wheels via AllGrip Pro 4WD system.
