The Tesla Cybertruck deliveries are still a couple of years away and it seems like the real-world testing has already begun. The prototype was reportedly spotted in LA trailing a Model 3.

According to Tesla’s official website, initially, the production is expected to begin in late 2021 with Dual Motor AWD and Tri Motor AWD variants, followed by Single Motor RWD in late 2022. As per Elon’s latest Tweet, pre-orders have crossed 250,000.

Just to remind, Tesla is taking only $100 (refundable) for pre-ordering, with the ability to complete the configuration as production nears in late 2021. Meaning, Tesla must have already received over $25,000,000 funding for the Cybertruck. It’s interesting to see how many of those pre-orders translate into actual orders.

Above is a short clip of the Cybertruck on an expressway. The person who posted the video clip claims that Elon himself was driving the truck.
