Range Rover Sport SVR Ultimate debuts with sparkling paint options

The Range Rover Sport has got an SVR Ultimate edition—featuring bespoke details from the Special Vehicle Operations. Prices in the UK start at £123,900. The Ultimate edition will be showcased at Salon Privé, Blenheim Palace, UK, on September 1-5.

The Ultimate edition is available in three paint finishes: Gloss Maya Blue or Gloss Marl Grey with fine white glass flake particles for a sparkling effect, or a stealthy Satin Ligurian Black. Each colour combines a gloss Narvik Black contrast roof. Other details include a knurled Range Rover lettering on the bonnet and tailgate—with Fuji White edging—which is also used on the black side fender accents. A body-colored carbon fibre vented bonnet, 22-inch five-split-spoke forged alloy wheels, black brake calipers round off the Ultimate treatment.

Inside, the SVR Ultimate edition features SV Bespoke B-pillar badges, black anodized metal gearshift paddles, Ultimate edition illuminated treadplates, and SVR-embossed lightweight Performance Seats in Windsor leather.

The Range Rover Sport SVR is the fastest of the lineup, packing a 5.0L Supercharged V8 that pumps out 423 kW (575 metric hp) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, enough to propel the tank from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 283 km/h (176 mph).
