Toyota Innova Crysta facelift launched at Rs 16.26 lakh

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched the Innova Crysta facelift in India, with prices ranging between INR 16,26,000 to INR 24,33,000, ex-showroom, Pan India (except Kerala). The minivan is available in 7- or 8-seater variants.

As for the styling updates, there’s a new trapezoidal grille with piano black slats and a thick chrome surround; a sporty front bumper, and new 17-inch Diamond-cut alloy wheels. The rest of the vehicle remains unchanged. There are 8 exterior colors to choose from: Sparkling Black Crystal Shine (new), Blackish Red, Avant-garde Bronze, White Pearl Crystal Shine, Grey, Silver, Super White and Attitude Black.

The cabin remains almost unchanged except for a new Camel Tan upholstery on the range topping ZX trims. Also, there’s a new 8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay connectivity. Depending on the trim, the rest of the features would include tilt & telescopic steering, 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, auto AC, height-adjustable rear headrests, and 12-volt outlets.

Powertrains
As for the powertrains, the Innova Crysta continues to offer petrol or diesel powertrains. Speaking of which, the 2.7-litre (2,694 cc) 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 122 kW (166 metric hp) at 5,200 rpm and 245 Nm (181 lb-ft) of torque at 4,000 rpm. For those who want a diesel, there’s a 2.4-litre (2,393 cc) 4-cylinder turbocharged unit that develops 110 kW (150 metric hp) at 3,400 rpm and 360 Nm (266 lb-ft) of torque between 1,400-2,600 rpm. When paired with a manual gearbox, the diesel engine’s torque output drops to 343 Nm (253 lb-ft).

Both engines can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox; power is sent to the rear wheels.
