Before this new model unveiled at 2016 LA Auto Show makes it to the Indian market, Ford India wants to bring a mild update to the current model by adding a touchscreen infotainment system. This update will also remove certain features, possibly to cope with the increasing costs.

The 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, bluetooth connectivity and reversing camera view will be offered in the top of the line Titanium+ trim, both on petrol and diesel options. This feature will likely increase the ex-showroom price by Rs 20,000.

Unfortunately, this update will delete certain features such as rear defogger, driver seat height adjustment, reclining rear seats, 60/40 split rear seats, rear wash & wipe in Trend trim. The Trend+ also loses reclining rear seats and 60/40 split rear seats along with integrated center headrest. The Titanium loses lumbar support, passenger seat storage box, driver armrest, cooled glove box, and leather gear shift knob. The top of the line Titanium+ also loses lumbar support, cooled glove box, driver armrest and leather gear shift knob along with DRLs.

So if you need a well equipped Ford Ecosport, i guess you need to go grab one now.
