Brabus 900 Rocket G 63 debuts with 900 hp and Mansory vibes

Apparently, the Brabus 800 Widestar G 63 that debuted in 2019 wasn’t “bonkers” enough for some people, and Brabus was like — “Oh yea?! how about the Brabus 900 Rocket?” Of course, this one not only looks bonkers but it also comes dangerously close to looking “Mansory”, if you know what I mean.

The widebody kit comes with a copious amount of carbon fibre elements and contrast red touches that it keeps reminding me of Mansory. I’m pretty sure that this body kit is not for those who like things subtle, even when it comes to modifications. Having said that, the door handles too are made of carbon fibre, which is pretty cool. One of the key highlights of this 900 Rocket are those 24-inch, 10-spoke rims with carbon fibre aero discs. As for the main exterior paint, buyers can go for Stealth Gray or Signature Black.

Also, the chassis and suspension tweaks enable the car to be lowered by up to 45 mm. Perhaps, the most important update is under the hood, where the 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine now displaces just over 4.4-litres, thanks to larger cylinder bores. The modifications also include forged pistons, forged connecting rods, a special crankshaft, two special turbochargers with a larger compressor, two BoostXtra valves for a satisfying blow-off sound, and of course, a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system.

As a result, the output is now 662 kW (900 metric hp) and 1,250 Nm (922 lb-ft) of max torque. But the torque is limited to 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft) to show some mercy on the gearbox. Brabus claims a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of 3.7 seconds and a limited top speed of 280 km/h (174 mph).

Indeed, the Mansory vibes are very strong inside the cabin. Anyway, Brabus is building only 25 units of the Brabus 900 Rocket, of which, 10 will be delivered this year. Don’t be surprised if most of these are going to the Middle East. Price? Well, EUR 571,270 plus 19% VAT in Germany.
