That’s right. While the big boys can play with their actual McLaren GT, the big boys’ actual boys or girls can play with the McLaren GT Ride-On. The GT Ride-On is McLaren’s 4th toy after the P1, 720S and Senna, and is suitable for kids aged 3 to 6.
The toy tries to replicate as many visual elements as possible from the real car, including those multi-spoke wheels and dihedral doors. As you can tell from the photos, the Ride-On will be available in six colors: Burnished Copper, Silica White, Onyx Black, McLaren Orange, Amaranth Red and Burton Blue.
It has also got a neat little dashboard with a switch to go forward or back. Buyers can go for an optional infotainment display that plays music via a USB device or an SD card. Working accelerator with revving sound, a brake pedal with brake light function, and a storage trunk are some of the other features of this toy.
The McLaren GT Ride-On will be available with select global toy retailers and is priced from £163 to £234.
