Ferrari SF90 Stradale gets Novitec’s high-performance exhaust system

Ferrari-SF90-Stradale-Novitec

The stock Ferrari SF90 Stradale offers a combined output of 735 kW (1,000 metric hp) which is more than sufficient for both daily grocery runs and occasional track days. But as the old cliché goes, there’s no such thing as too much power. Which is why Novitec is offering a performance boost in addition to subtle visual upgrades.

The performance boost is achieved via a new high-performance exhaust system comprising 100-cell metal catalysts and two stainless steel tailpipes with a diameter of 112 mm, enabling the 4.0L V8 biturbo to breathe more freely. The tailpipes feature carbon embellishers. Options include 999 fine-gold plating to further improve heat dissipation, an exhaust system with active flaps, and another one made from Inconel.

Thanks to the new exhaust system, the ICE produces 598 kW (813 metric hp), which is 33 metric hp more. Remember, the SF90 is a PHEV with three electric motors as well, which means, the combined output grows to 1,033 metric hp. However, the official performance figures remain unchanged: 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of over 340 km/h (211 mph).

Visually, things have been kept subtle with bronze-painted forged wheels (20-inch front and 21-inch rear) and Novitec sport springs that lower the ride height by 30 mm at the front and 25 mm at the rear axle.
