BMW Motorrad’s new entry-level 450 lineup has a third member called the F 450 RR. For the uninitiated, BMW’s 450 line of motorcycles replaces the 310 lineup that was on sale from 2015 to 2025. And yes, the 450 lineup, which includes the F 450 GS, the F 450 R, and the new F 450 RR, will be manufactured at the TVS facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The F 450 RR is priced at €7,250 (including VAT) in Germany.
| Model | German Prices (including VAT) |
| F 450 R | €6,490 |
| F 450 GS | €7,220 |
| F 450 RR | €7,250 |
As for the Indian market, the F 450 GS is already on sale for INR 495,000 (€4,638), which means it’s probably just a matter of time before the other two, or at least one model, to join the local lineup.
The F 450 RR is essentially a fully faired version of the F 450 R. The design language was apparently taken from its larger sibling, the S 1000 RR. Some of the key highlights include an LED headlight, LED lighting, a 6.5-inch TFT display, a USB-C port, heated grips, an adjustable 43 mm KYB upside-down telescopic fork at the front, an adjustable KYB monoshock at the rear, 17-inch cast-aluminum wheels, and the Brembo braking system with BMW Motorrad ABS Pro. The rider gets to play with three riding modes: Rain, Road and Race.
Powering the F 450 RR is the same 420 cc twin-cylinder engine, developing 35 kW (48 metric hp) at 8,750 rpm and 43 Nm (32 lb-ft) at 6,750 rpm. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox. Something called the Easy Ride Clutch (ERC) is an optional extra; it enables riding and shifting without manual clutch operation.
