Porsche Centre Bengaluru returns with a new dealer

The Porsche Centre Bengaluru which had a 10-year successful stint with Friendly Automotives, got shut down a year ago for various confidential reasons. But the good news for Porsche fans in the city is that the showroom is coming back, this time in partnership with VST Group and a much larger space.

And Chennai has also got a new Porsche showroom in partnership with KUN Group. Both new showrooms are currently operating out of what is called an interim facility, meaning the proper, state-of-the-art facilities are under construction. However, the showrooms are equipped for sales, service and spare parts.

The network expansion is apparently in response to a 62% growth Porsche India recorded in 2021 over the previous year. The marque also reported its best retail performance since 2014.

“The appointment of both partners to cater to our customers in Bengaluru and Chennai respectively concludes the first phase of our ambitious plan for the year. With these new facilities, we confirm our commitment to the market and we plan to establish a Porsche network of 9 locations by next year,” said Manolito Vujicic, Brand Director for Porsche India.
