2025 Renault Triber facelift launched at Rs 6.29 lakh

The Renault Triber was an instant success when it was launched in India 5 years ago. It measures only 3,990 mm in length, but thanks to its clever design and packaging, it can accommodate up to 7 people (well, kinda). But as you may also know, the Indian middle-class has somewhat “upgraded” to the “premium” segment, and therefore they’re buying (with EMI, of course) cars such as the Seltos, the Hector Plus, the Creta N Line, and the Harrier/Safari, just to name a few. And so, if Renault wants some of those “premium” wannabes, they need to upgrade as well. Which probably is what the Triber facelift is, I think. Prices start at 6.29 lakh, ex-showroom.

Trims Ex-showroom price
Authentic 6.29 lakh
Evolution 7.24 lakh
Techno 7.99 lakh
Emotion 8.64 lakh

There are actually 5 variants; the last one being an AMT option—available on the Emotion trim. But anyway, fewer variants means it’s fairly easy to pick the one you need.

There are styling revisions on the front and rear fascias to make it look more sophisticated and contemporary—given that the model is now 5 years old. The front fascia sports new LED headlights, a new grille, and a new bumper design with vertical light signatures. In the times when the fog lights are being ditched, the refreshed Triber’s fog lights look refreshing. Also, notice that the bonnet has a U-shaped emossing. The changes at the rear are rather subtle but noticeable with those LED signatures. The side profile remains largely unchanged except for 15-inch dual-tone “landscape” flex wheel covers. If you want alloy wheels, that’ll be a ₹9,900 option.

Things look refreshing on the inside too, with a new dashboard, new steering wheel, and new seat upholstery. Other key highlights include an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay connectivity, 4 speakers, 2nd and 3rd row AC vents, and a cooled centre console. Safety and assistance systems include 6 airbags, ABS, Brake Assist, ESP, Traction Control, Hill-start Assist, front & rear parking sensors, and Cruise Control. Download the brochure here.

The Triber continues to be powered by a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 53 kW (72 metric hp) at 6,250 rpm and 96 Nm (71 lb-ft) of torque at 3,500 rpm. The gearbox can be a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.
