As for styling, there are subtle yet noticeable changes compared with the 5-seater Hector. The front fascia has a larger grille flanked by new LED running lights, and a restyled bumper with new LED headlights. The side profile remains largely similar in terms of the styling, while at the rear, there are new LED taillights and a restyled bumper with fake exhaust outlets. Unlike the regular Hector, there’s no connecting bar between the taillights, which makes the tailgate design look a lot cleaner. The 17-inch alloy wheels are the same.

There are 6 exterior colors to choose from: Starry Sky Blue, Glaze Red, Burgundy Red (maroon-brownish), Starry Black, Candy White and Aurora Silver.

The third row gets its own AC vents with fan speed control. The rest of the features have been carried over from the 5-seater Hector, including the portrait-style 10.4-inch touchscreen, 8-speaker Infinity audio system, 7-inch color MID, 6-way power-adjustable driver seat, and 8-color ambient lighting.

Safety features would include 6 airbags, ABS+EBD+Brake Assist, ESP, Traction Control, TPMS, rear defogger, and 360-degree camera system. Download the brochure here.

Powertrains
Moving on to the business end of the story, the Hector Plus borrows the powertrains from its 5-seater sibling. The 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine offers 143 hp at 5,000 rpm and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque between 1,600-3,600 rpm, and is paired with a 6-speed DCT. The same petrol engine is also available in combination with a mild-hybrid system and 6-speed MT.

The diesel engine is the same Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre (1,956 cc) turbocharged unit that develops 170 hp at 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque between 1,750-2,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed MT driving the front wheels.
