Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) sold a total of 61,912 units in August 2018, registering a cumulative growth of 3.4%. However, the domestic sales declined by 2.8%.

Interestingly, the exports grew by 25.8%. According to Vikas Jain, National Sales Head of HMIL, the Grand i10, new Elite i20 and new Creta are strong performers with each continuing to cross 10,000 sales mark.
The new Elite i20 was launched earlier this year at the Auto Expo 2018. Former Director of Sales & Marketing, Mr. Rakesh Srivastava can be seen in the picture above. The CVT variants were launched recently.
HMIL currently exports to Africa, Middle East, Latin America, Australia and Asia Pacific.
