Second-gen Hyundai Venue revealed

2026-Hyundai-Venue-facelift

The Venue has been a highly successful compact crossover for Hyundai ever since its launch in 2019, and over the years, it has only gotten more powerful with the introduction of a sporty Venue N Line. To continue the success story, Hyundai is all set to introduce the second-gen model, expected to launch on Nov 4, 2025. Bookings are open.

The updated design looks more like a smaller version of the Creta. The front fascia has a DRL band that extends downwards and sort of wraps around the headlights, which looks a bit overdone, but most Hyundai-Kia cars these days look overdone anyway. Take a look at the 2026 Palisade, for example. You might be interested to know that Hyundai calls this “Twin Horn LED DRLs”. Those quad-beam LED headlights look pretty cool too. On the side, you have new 16-inch Diamond-cut alloy wheels, and if you walk towards the rear, you’ll find another horny LED light band. Like I said, the designers appear to be going for a smaller version of the Creta. But nonetheless, I’m pretty sure that the new Venue will continue to buy customers.

In terms of dimensions, the second-gen Venue measures 3,995 mm long, 1,800 mm wide and 1,665 mm tall, which makes it slightly wider and taller than before. The wheelbase of 2,520 mm is 20 mm longer than its India-spec predecessor. As for body color options, you can expect up to 6 monotone and 2 dual-tone options.

As for powertrain options, you can expect a 1.2L 4-cylinder N/A petrol, a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo petrol, and a 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo diesel, with MT, AT, and DCT options depending on the engine. There might be some changes in the output figures, but it’s probably not going to be anything significant.

The refreshed cabin looks pretty chic, especially in this two-tone theme. Key features include a curved panoramic display (12.3-inch + 12.3-inch), a new D-Cut steering wheel, a 4-way electrically adjustable driver seat, 2-step reclining rear seats, rear window sunshades, rear AC vents, and ambient lighting. As for safety, you can expect the usual standard kit, including at least up to 6 airbags.
