Hyundai Kona will have head-up display with class-leading luminance

Hyundai continues to release teaser images of the B-Segment compact crossover Kona, ahead of its expected global unveil this month. Do note that i have “Shadow Highlighted” these teaser images to reveal some more.

The Kona gets an aggressive design with twin headlamp setup, which also gives the vehicle a wide stance. The large cascading grille helps people instantly recognise that they are looking a new member of Hyundai family. The rear end also follows a similar twin light setup.

Talking about the features, there’s is a new head-up display, which is claimed to have a class-leading luminance of 10,000 candela per square metre, promising a sharp and crystal clear visibility in any lighting conditions. Watch the teaser video above.

Kona was spotted undisguised during an ad shoot somewhere in Europe few weeks ago, giving an idea on how it would look in a real world. More information on the technical bits and features are expected soon.

Following a global unveil, Kona will go on sale in Europe first. Not expected in the Indian market anytime soon.
