The M2 was the most successful model for BMW in 2017, selling over 12,000 units worldwide. Which is why they decided to give it some exclusive treatment.

The M2 Coupe Black Shadow boasts selected design features that further accentuate the top athlete’s powerful appearance. The edition model is exclusively available in Sapphire Black metallic exterior paint job. Underlining the looks are the 19-inch, matt black forged light alloys with a Y-spoke design.

These features are complemented by exterior mirrors in a carbon finish, the M kidney grille and trim bars for the side panels in high-gloss black. The rear diffuser gets a carbon finish and the M double tailpipes get black-chrome trims.

No mechanical changes under the hood. The 3.0 straight 6-cylinder twin scroll turbo engine produces 272 kW/370 hp, sending power to the rear wheels via optional 7-speed M dual clutch transmission with Drivelogic. Standard transmission appears to be a 6-speed manual. With the DCT, the M2 Black Shadow does 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds.

The M2 Coupe Black Shadow Edition will be available from April 2018.
