Hyderabad-based smartphone and IoT services provider Smartron has launched the Tronx One crossover electric bike at an introductory price of Rs 49,999.
The company claims that the bike’s frame has been made from aero-grade aluminium. As you can see in the pictures here, the frame holds a removable lithium-ion battery pack.
Speaking of which, the battery pack consists of Samsung cells with a total capacity of 36 V and 13.6 Ah, powering the 250 W rear hub motor. The company claims a range of 45 – 50 km on continuous throttle. There are couple of other modes such as Pedal Assist and Walk Assist. The battery takes about 3 – 4 hours to charge.
The smart bike features a TFT display with bluetooth connectivity and a smartphone app, where the rider can track the calories.
Tronx One is available in two colors – Magma Red and Pacific Blue.
