The Suzuki Vitara is celebrating 30th anniversary and the SUV has received some upgrades for the 2019 model year.
Speaking of which, there isn’t a whole lot to talk about the design changes. On the exterior, there are a new set of alloy wheels, redesigned front grille and lower section of the bumper. Rear end features a redesigned LED combination lamps.
For the interiors, the upper part of the instrument panel now incorporates a soft touch material for added quality and the instrument cluster has a new design with colour central information display.
The 2019 Vitara gets new safety technology as standard on the SZ5 model, which includes Dual Sensor Brake Support, Lane Departure Warning and Prevention, Traffic Sign recognition, Blind Spot Monitor and Rear cross traffic alert.
For greater efficiency and lower emissions, the 1.6-litre petrol has been replaced by 111 hp 1.0-litre and 140 hp 1.4-litre Boosterjet turbo charged petrol engines which also power the S-Cross. The ALLGRIP four wheel drive is available optionally on the SZ-T trim with manual transmission.
The 2019 Suzuki Vitara will go on sale in UK in September. Check back for updates.
