The 2.8L Diesel which produces 177ps (174hp) of power @ 3400rpm and 450nm of torque @ 1600 – 2400rpm. The other engine option India would likely get is the 2.4L Diesel producing 150ps (147hp) of power @ 3400rpm and 400nm of torque @ 1600 – 2000rpm.
The new Fortuner will come in 2WD and 4WD avatar and the engine is mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission with sequential shift and paddle shifters. There’s a 6 speed manual transmission option too.
