Volkswagen India has announced the prices of the much awaited Ameo compact sedan, starting at a very competitive price of Rs 5.13 lakhs, ex-showroom and pre-octroi, Mumbai. Customer delivers will begin from July 2016.
Ameo 1.2 MPI Trendline – Rs 5,13,864
Ameo 1.2 MPI Comfortline – Rs 5,87,914
Ameo 1.2 MPI Highline – Rs 6,91,860
Only the petrol variant prices have been announced at the moment. The petrol Ameo will be available with a 1.2 litre 3 Cyl MPI petrol engine producing 75 PS @ 5,400 rpm and 110 Nm of torque @ 3,750 rpm mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The Ameo has an ARAI rated fuel efficiency of 17.83 km/l.
