The Brazilian spec Renault Kwid has been spotted testing several times in São Paulo, and reportedly, the car is said to have 4 airbags and ABS + EBD as standard. Also, the Brazil spec Kwid will weigh 20% more. That is, if Indian Kwid weighs around 660 Kg, the Brazil counterpart will weigh around 800 Kg, owing to more structural rigidity, meeting local safety standards. The Brazilian Kwid might also get all 4 power windows.

Look wise though, the Brazil spec Kwid looks more or less the same as the Indian counterpart, but gets a rear defogger.

As seen in these spy shots, the Brazil spec Kwid gets alloy wheels (standard or might be an option). Coming to the power plant, the Brazil spec Kwid will be offered with 1.0 litre 3 Cyl flex fuel engine. The Kwid for Brazil will be produced at São José dos Pinhais, and has been modified by Renault Technology Americas (RTA) to meet the stringent Latin NCAP crash test regulations.
