After the Kodiaq RS, Skoda is working on a more sportier version which the brand says “exclusive” for the Chinese market. It’s called the Kodiaq GT, and as you can see in the pictures, it’s the brand’s first Coupe-SUV.
While the front section is pretty much the same, what differentiates it from the regular Kodiaq is its rear section. The roofline gently slopes down, merging into the angled tailgate. The taillamps appear to be slightly different, and the rear bumper has a more sportier design to match the Coupe-SUV body style. Also, notice the circular tailpipes.
As for the interiors, the dashboard layout appears to be similar with some carbon fibre-like trim elements. Expect similar seats to what we’ve seen in the RS. What remains to be seen, however, is how the sloping roofline has affected the rear headroom.
Skoda said that the Kodiaq GT will be the brand’s flagship offering in China and be a key driver of the brand’s image.
