If this immediately reminds you of Faraday Future FF 91, don’t worry, you’re not alone. The HiPhi is an all-electric brand from a company called Human Horizons, founded by people who worked with leading carmakers for decades. The first product from HiPhi is this prototype/concept called HiPhi 1.

The HiPhi 1 is an electric crossover with autonomous driving capabilities; it’ll have level 3 autonomous driving at launch. The company also claims that the car has more than 500 sensors, and will be the first production car with a 5G-V2X enabled communication network.

The HiPhi 1 will also have something called Human Oriented Architecture (HOA), a self-learning technology to enhance the User Experience. Its “neural network” consists of 4 “super brain” domain controllers and 6 computing platforms (MPU, Micro Processing Unit), connected by 1G Ethernet, providing a higher transmission rate than traditional CAN networks. The vehicle is able to analyze massive amounts of information and make decisions, utilizing cloud computing with a powerful data analysis engine, to build a truly intelligent and smart vehicle, HH said.

The vehicle’s rear doors are a mix of rear-hinged doors and gullwing doors. The 6-seater layout has seats that offer several configurations for occupant comfort; the rear armrest with a flip-up display can be moved away and the seats can be moved horizontally to bring them closer if needed.

The cockpit is full of displays including the ones for the cameras that replace the traditional wing mirrors. The seats apparently offer electric adjustability in 8-axis and will feature ventilation, heating and massage function as well. There’ll also be Smart Air Suspension too. Other features include communicative headlamps and taillamps, and face recognition unlock.

HH says that the HiPhi 1 is production ready. However, its technical details are yet to be revealed.
