BMW Motorrad has launched the F 900 R and F 900 XR motorcycles in India. The F 900 R is priced at Rs 9.90 lakh, while the XR will be offered in a Standard and a Pro variant, priced at Rs 10.50 lakh and Rs 11.50 lakh, respectively. All prices are ex-showroom.

The F 900 R is a naked motorcycle while the XR is an adventure sports tourer type. Features include LED headlamp, 6.5-inch color TFT display with BMW Motorrad connectivity, riding modes (Rain, Road), ABS, Automatic Stability Control (ASC), anti-hopping clutch, and cast aluminium wheels.

The XR Pro variant offers additional features such as the Cruise Control, Gear Shift Assist Pro, and Dynamic ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) which allows riders to switch between suspension settings while riding. Download the product highlights sheet here.

Both motorcycles are powered by an 895 cc in-line 2-cylinder engine, producing 77 kW (105 hp) at 8,500 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The motorcycles are being imported as completely built-up units (CBU) and will be available through BMW Motorrad dealer network.
