Chrysler has updated the 300 sedan with standard driver assistance systems and a couple of optional packages. For 2021, the Chrysler 300 lineup consists of three main trims: 300 Touring (RWD/AWD), 300 Touring L (RWD/AWD) and 300S (RWD). MSRP starts at $30,445 in the US.

There aren’t really any styling updates; the 2021 Chrysler 300 looks almost the same as a decade-old model. However, the Red S Appearance Package comes standard on the 300S, consisting of a Gloss Black front fascia appliques, Black Noise exterior badging, red insert on the Chrysler wing badge, Red “S” badge and 20-inch Black Noise wheels. The Sport Appearance Package and Chrome Appearance Package for the Touring L trim continue to be available for the 2021 model year.

Two new optional packages are available on the 300 Touring L and 300S. The Comfort Group Package includes adaptive bi-xenon headlights; auto-adjust-in-reverse driver’s mirrors; ventilated leather-trimmed seats; heated steering wheel; power tilt/telescoping steering column (300S only); memory for driver’s seat, steering and exterior mirrors; and heated rear seats. The Popular Equipment Package includes a dual-pane panoramic sunroof; an 8.4-inch Uconnect 4C Navigation system with 5-year SiriusXM Traffic and SiriusXM Travel Link service; and a 9-speaker audio system.

Added as standard on the 2021 300 Touring L and 300S are ParkSense front and rear park assist system; Blind-spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross Path detection.

As for the powertrains, the 2021 Chrysler 300 offers two engines: 3.6L Pentastar V6 and 5.7L HEMI V8; the latter is available on the 300S. The Pentastar pumps out 218 kW (296 metric hp) and 352 Nm (260 lb-ft) of torque in Touring and Touring L trims, and 224 kW (304 metric hp) and 358 Nm (264 lb-ft) of torque in the 300S. The HEMI offers 271 kW (368 metric hp) and 534 Nm (394 lb-ft) of torque.

Both engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic that drives the rear wheels. The AWD system available on the Touring and Touring L trims features front-axle disconnect to improve fuel economy.
