Porsche Panamera gets a Platinum Edition

Porsche-Panamera-Platinum-Edition

It’s been a while since we heard anything from the Panamera, thanks to all the “silent” noises of EVs. Which is probably why Porsche is offering the Panamera Platinum Edition—available on Panamera, Panamera 4 and Panamera 4 E-Hybrid models (market dependent). The special edition will make its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month. Prices in America start at US$ 101,900 (Panamera Platinum Edition). Deliveries will commence at the end of January 2022.

So, what’s the Panamera Platinum Edition is all about? Well, the exterior of the car gets metallic paint at no extra cost, combined with dark elements such as the side window lining and tailpipes. The metallic paint and dark elements are complemented with a Platinum-painted air outlet insert behind the front wheels, Platinum badges at the rear, and of course, the 20- or 21-inch Platinum-painted wheels depending on the model. LED Matrix headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus come standard.

The dark theme continues inside with brushed aluminium door sills featuring the Platinum Edition logo. An analogue clock on the dashboard comes standard. Other standard features include 14-way electrically adjustable comfort front seats with memory package, heated rear seats, four-zone climate control, 14-speaker Bose audio system, and of course, the Porsche Active Suspension Management system.
