Last month, BMW launched only the petrol version of the X3 facelift in India. Now though, it’s time for the diesel variant to join the lineup, available only in a single xDrive20d Luxury trim, priced at INR 65,50,000 (introductory), ex-showroom, Pan India.

Key features for the Indian market include Adaptive LED headlights, LED fog lights, LED taillights, 19-inch alloy wheels, panoramic glass roof, 3-zone climate control, memory function for the driver seat, BMW Live Cockpit Professional (a 12.3-inch driver display and a 12.3-inch central touchscreen), Harman Kardon audio system, and safety systems such as airbags, ABS, Dynamic Stability Control, TPMS and so on. Download the spec-sheet here.

Powering the diesel X3 is a 2.0-litre (1,995 cc) 4-cylinder turbocharged unit with 140 kW (190 metric hp) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque—channeled to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox and xDrive AWD system.
