Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition launched at Rs 27.79 lakh

The Mahindra BE 6 (originally BE 6E) in full black already looks like a Batmobile. It looks so good in black that Bruce Wayne would happily add it to his collection. But for those who want official bragging rights, Mahindra is offering the BE 6 Batman Edition, priced at 27.79 lakh (ex-showroom, excluding charger and installation cost). Limited to 300 units, this is an official collaboration between Mahindra and Warner Bros. Bookings will open on August 23, and deliveries will begin September 20—which apparently is the International Batman Day.

The Batman Edition is based on the Pack three 79 kWh variant. So, what do you get for that extra 89,000? Well, here’s a nifty list:

Satin Black exterior paint
Custom Batman decal on front doors
R20 alloy wheels
Alchemy Gold-painted suspension and brake callipers
“BE 6 × The Dark Knight” limited edition rear badging
The Bat emblem, as seen in The Dark Knight trilogy, placed on:

The Pack Three variant offers 210 kW (285.5 metric hp) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft). A 79 kWh BYD-sourced battery pack is claimed to offer a range of up to 683 km (424 mi). The BE 6 is a rear-wheel-drive vehicle; currently, there are no AWD options.
